Arboricultural Association – The Arboricultural Association promotes tree care and tree knowledge through the UK. A list of approved Tree surgery contractors and consultants is available on the site and a list of tree related publications and advise on tree related matters.
The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) – The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is the worlds biggest group of professional arborists with over 20,000 members distributing throughout 38 “chapters” across the 5 continents.
Japanese Garden Society – The National garden society for Japanese Gardens.
Devon Fungus Group – The Devon Fungus Group aims to promote an interest in the study of wild fungi in the Devon area.
Royal Forestry Society – The Royal Forestry Society or RFS is an educational charity covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland, promoting the wise sustainable management of trees, forests and woods. We own woodlands, run courses and meetings, support Tree Aid, offer bursaries, organise symposia and study tours, publish Tree Terms and the Quarterly Journal of Forestry and have a web-based Knowledge Centre and Learning Zone for adults and school children. Membership is open to all.
Tree Advice Trust – The Arboricultural Advisory and Information Service provides advice and information about trees based on research results and experience.
The European Boxwood And Topiary Society – The Society has branches in the UK as well as in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. It’s aim is to encourage the cultivation of boxwood and increase the knowledge and appreciation of boxwood and topiary in historical and modern gardens.
